We meet

Answering your questions. And asking some too. We learn about your company and internalize your goals for the film. We explore your vision, your passion and your mission. We distill your brand to its essence and outline a compelling visual narrative.  We come up with a detailed game plan that works for everyone.

We decide to work together

You are really doing it, diving in on telling your story to world - congrats! We are meeting, talking, notepads and laptops out. Whom to interview, what supporting footage to pick up, the core message points to get across. It’s the exciting and important stuff that will shape results and drive the success of your film.   

We Roll

Time to shoot. Lights, camera and all the rest. Thoughtful interviews and beautiful b-roll all shot on location. Our shoots feature big-production values with a low impact on your business. You’re welcome to attend the interviews but most people don’t. They do their jobs and we do ours – no handholding required with Once Films.  

We Review

We'll review clips together, choose the best stuff and build a string of interviews that will serve as the film’s backbone. We get your buy-off and then bury ourselves in your project at our top-secret edit suites in Clarkson Valley, Missouri.  Fueled by green M&Ms and Starbucks coffee, we bring your film to life. 

We edit

We have an award-winning editing team. Tellys, AIGAs, ADDYs – you name it. They combine interviews shot from two camera angles, artistic b-roll, photos, graphics – it all flows. A rough draft of your film is posted online, you supply feedback, we tweak and post again. Back and forth we go, collaborating together as a team.

We’re Close

The content is right. You are pleased as punch. Now it’s time for post-production. Color grading, music scoring, voice-overs, final audio engineering and more. All the finishing touches. Your film is polished to perfection and posted for your approval.

We're There

The finale! Your film, hand delivered in beautiful high def – ready to go to work for you and your company.  Time for the “wrap party.” We head out to lunch on us to celebrate. Order whatever you like. Even the filet. We raise a glass and toast to your company’s success.
